The nouveau American restaurant inside the Walker Hotel is so deep into the farm-to-table movement, its website lists all of its farming partners. Those growers have an excellent collaborator, as Society Cafe has established itself as a go-to West Village spot for all three meals made with hyper-local ingredients. The dinner menu is especially enticing, with dishes like a hanger steak made more interesting with romanesco, garlic scape, confit potato, and cippolini onion.
