Nic Adler, the guy behind Coachella’s popular food, Monty’s Good Burger, and the Eat Drink Vegan, finally put all of his plant-based energy into one scene-y, full-service restaurant. With one of the best patios in L.A., a large bar area and colorful, light design, Nic’s is the new breezy spot for avocado crispy rice, falafel burgers with truffle tahini, vegetable pot pie, and summer corn agnolotti. Try the chicharrón made with puffed yuba (tofu skin), smoked vegan gouda foam, and miso. Cocktails made with house-smoked Oaxaca black corn whiskey alone are worth a visit.
