Eat, Drink | $$$$$
Talk about a meal with a view. Hudson Garden Grill is the only full-blown restaurant situated on the grounds of the impossibly beautiful New York Botanical Garden in the Bronx. Given the bucolic setting, perhaps it’s not a huge surprise that the New American menu leans heavily toward the local and seasonal. Recent dishes have included Tasmanian sea trout, lovingly displayed with corn and pork belly cake and Japanese mushrooms, and cavatelli cooked with red wine and rabbit sausage. The eatery’s tall windows allow you to gaze out at the lush gardens beyond the glass while sipping something wonderful inside your own glass.
